Set against the rugged winter landscape of Crested Butte, Colorado, the film follows Loki the Wolfdog, an Instagram icon, and his human, Kelly Lund, as they embark on an unforgettable outdoor adventure in the 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLS. Designed to highlight both the spirit of exploration and the vehicle’s capability in extreme conditions, the shoot took place on the heels of a massive February snowstorm—resulting in pristine, untouched terrain but also formidable challenges.

With temperatures plunging to -40°F, the production pushed both crew and talent to their limits. Despite the brutal cold, the Vesta Films A-team delivered, utilizing an arsenal of cutting-edge equipment, including two RED Dragons filming in 6K, a 4K aerial drone, a proprietary 360-video system, and a truck/UTV-mounted Cineflex gyrostabilized RED Dragon. These tools allowed us to capture the GLS and its surroundings from every possible angle, ensuring a cinematic experience worthy of the brand.

The final product seamlessly blends adventure, authenticity, and the spirit of winter exploration—creating a visually stunning, emotionally resonant brand film that we are incredibly proud to share.
